About

Holly first became interested in the technical side of theatre whilst at the University of Leicester; where instead of studying for a BA in History and Politics but she spent the majority of her time as a stage manager for the University's Theatre society.  Believing this was the career for her she began her training at LAMDA on the fDa Stage Management and Technical Theatre course.

Just before graduating she was given the opportunity to be the Lighting Designer for two of the main house productions- at which point she fell in love with the career and graduated with the aim to pursue this going forward.

Holly has been working as a freelance Lighting Designer since 2017 and enjoys working on theatre, musicals and is interested in dance. She is currently not represented but would love to be.

Holly recieved an OFFIE nomination for Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon at Southwark Playhouse

Holly was a one of the ALD's LUMIERE 20:20 recipients

Holly also appeared on the podcast  Production Meetings with fellow lighting designer Jason Addison in 2020. Available to listen to here
